My husband and I made a really hard decision to leave our families and move down South so that my husband could keep his job, and I wouldn’t have to work outside the home. Our options were to find a new job for my husband or move down South with the company that he was working for. We weren’t able to find another job that suited him, so we decided, the best option was to move down South with the company he worked for. Living in the South was definitely different than what we were used to, and there were many things that drove me crazy at first. Rain, rain, and more rain is something that I didn’t think I would ever get used to. It seemed like it rained eighty percent of the summer. With the rain came high percentages of humidity. I always told myself that I would never move somewhere that had high humidity, but I guess life has its way of changing things. At first, I didn’t really know how to cope with the high levels of humidity, and it was one of those things that just drove me crazy. I decided to purchase a couple of dehumidifiers to see it they would actually make a difference. To my surprise, they made a huge difference, and it made living in a new place with a whole lot of humidity tolerable. Although living where I do now wouldn’t have ever been my first choice, I have learned to like it here, and I’m even able to enjoy the rain now that I have my dehumidifiers.
