It can be a very challenging work environment, for sure, but there are also many benefits to working with search handy and masculine figures. For starters, I can always impress them by bringing in baked goods and snacks. They aren’t well equipped in the kitchen, so I have my own unique niche at the office. One guy I used to be an electrician, someone used to be a plumber, and my closest friend was once a certified HVAC technician. Technically, his licensure has not expired and he could still be a commercial or residential heating, cooling, and ventilation specialist if he wanted to. That’s great news for me, because I definitely need help with my HVAC system on a regular basis. Whenever I have questions or concerns with my central heating or cooling system, I write them down and wait for the next business day. I can always get awesome advice from my co-worker and I don’t feel like he has any motive for upselling mean new equipment or recommending a particular HVAC solution. So far, he’s always given me great advice and I’ve seen massive improvements in my energy usage as well as overall air quality.
