What’s that old phrase? You cannot choose your family? That is undoubtedly obvious in my case, because I would have selected harshly different human beings than the extended family I wound up with; When I was born into this family, God was playing some kind of a joke on everybody; I have never fit in with my Aunts, Uncles, or Cousins, & they have never been my number one people either, and but, my buddy and I have to get along for the sake of keeping the peace until Grandpa dies, then yesterday I almost lost my temper after I arrived at our house & realized that my idiot cousins had broken in the heating & cooling system the last time they were visiting.
I was hoping to go out for a peaceful weekend at our family cabin, & instead I wound up with an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C disaster that I had to repair.
When I first drove up to the cabin, I observed that there was more garbage outside than usual. I should have realized that this would correspond to the general condition of the household & apartment appliances, including the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system, my first night there, I turned on the central heating system & observed that it was still ice chilly after an hour. I checked on the temperature control & the heating system itself, even though I had no idea what was wrong. It was just obvious that the heating system wasn’t functional. I messaged my family & asked if anyone could recommend an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist up here in the woods, and that’s when my idiot cousins chimed in & asked if the heater was still broken. I’m sorry, “still?” The heater broke two months ago when they were using the cabin, & they never arranged for a heating system repair or mentioned the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C failure to any of us. I was livid then, & even more aggravated when I realized they had taken the AC device house with them.
