I suppose people are learning a lot about themselves during this recent quarantine.
Nobody could have foreseen this pandemic rising up & stalling out life the way that it has. In response, the entire population has come to terms with some unlucky realizations about themselves. Namely, that they cannot sit being alone & undistracted all afternoon long. In my own life, I have come to understand that when left to my own devices I am too thrilled to stay inside. The only uncomfortable realization is, obviously I’m a lot odorier than I ever realized. For months I have been locked up inside of my household with only my indoor air. I have been using the central heating & cooling system pretty properly because the outdoor weather conditions has been unevenly overheated & chilly depending on the afternoon. I have been switching back & forth from the heating system to the cooling system & I have been rather comfortable with my indoor air handling devices running the show. However, I absolutely did not realize how much my indoor air was starting to odor. Because it has been so sealed off from fresh outdoor air, my indoor environment was getting pretty dank. I did not realize that this odor concern was occurring until I legitimately left the household this week to go for a walk. I enjoyed the fresh, cool air of the afternoon. When I returned to my house, I was shocked to walk inside & odor my indoor air with a up-to-date perspective. Apparently I’ve been living in the artificial indoor air for so long that I became immune to the airborne odors. I turned off the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system from the smart temperature control & rapidly opened my windows for natural ventilation while I pondered “Have I regularly been this odory?”
