It’s never been simple for my hubby to get a fantastic night’s rest.
My exhausting hubby is the lightest sleeper that I have ever met… As a child, he would wake up to the movement of air created when his mom opened his family room door. He did find that having a consistent loud noise helped him to sleep better through the night. He had a large box fan that he turned on high each night, plus that helped to obstructed out the other sporadic noises of the night. He did warn me before we were married that he was a actually light sleeper, despite the fact that I didn’t fully realize what he meant by that! Unluckyly, I don’t sleep actually well with loud noises in the room whether they are consistent noises or not… Vince has to run the air conditioner in order for him to sleep well, but it’s so loud that I can hardly sleep at all. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it, despite the fact that I have never heard an air conditioner so loud in my life. It literally vibrates the room with it’s loud rumbles. I try to talk to Vince about it, but it seems like everytime I plan on mentioning it to him, he makes some comment on how he is sleeping better than he ever has before plus how the air conditioner is the perfect amount of noise for him to be able to sleep well. Of course, I can’t say anything after he makes a comment like that. I am entirely glad that this air conditioner allows him to sleep better, despite the fact that I sure hope that I can convince him to go back to a simple box fan instead of an air conditioner that sounds like it’s about to explode.
