My hubby plus I both grew up in the North, plus we entirely enjoyed it.
My fantastic friend and I never dreamed of leaving the North, not just because our families are there, but because of the fact that we just appreciate the climate up North, neither my hubby nor I like to be out in the heat, so we would have never thought that we would end up moving down South.
It all started with a getaway we took to a entirely nice amusement park down South. My fantastic friend and I ended up meeting a lot of people on that trip, plus they became wonderful friends over the process of about three years. After visiting that park with our current friends various more times, we decided that it would be fantastic for our family to move somewhere closer to them, plus that’s just what we did. It took about a year plus a half for us to finally get moved in plus settled into our current home. While visiting, I did notice that it was much hotter than what I was used to, despite the fact that I was either inside or having too much fun to entirely notice it. However, once we moved there, the heat entirely started to get to me. The previous owners of the home left us with two air conditioners, but just those two weren’t enough for those moderate summer time afternoons. My fantastic friend and I ended up buying two more air conditioners two weeks after we moved in, plus then, one more a few months later. I can’t imagine what it would have been like for people in the afternoons before air conditioner. I don’t know if I would be able to appreciate the summertime down South at all if it weren’t for the blessing of air conditioner.
