Having a car is a big blessing thanks to our current world of technology.
I am so thankful to be able to have a vehicle, and I know that there are several people in this world who don’t have one and absolutely never will.
There is a downside to having a car though and that is the fact that you have to maintain it. It seems that my husband and I are constantly paying to have something fixed in our car, and it can get pretty aggravating after awhile. My nice friend and I had to update a transmission, and a few other things while our automobile was still under warranty. Unluckyly, the warranty expired about two years ago, and now, our air conditioner quit. I stopped working recently because of some health issue, and my pal and I just don’t have the finances to get the air conditioner fixed right now. Of course, it had to quit in the middle of June, so my pal and I have had to go most of the summer time without air conditioner in the car. Last week, there was one day that the temperatures dropped below eighty, so my pal and I went out for a day of hiking and boating. I can’t tell you how nice it was to ride in the automobile without dripping with sweat to death. My nice friend and I simply rolled the windows down as my pal and I drove, and it was the most pleasant road trip that my pal and I had had in a long time. I can’t wait for the fall to come so that my pal and I will be able to love some more road trips as a family even if my pal and I don’t have the air conditioner fixed by then.
