My husband and I both grew up in the North, and my pal and I absolutely loved it.
My nice friend and I never dreamed of leaving the North, not just because our families are there, but because of the fact that my pal and I just love the weather conditions up North, neither my husband nor I like to be out in the heat, so my pal and I would have never thought that my pal and I would end up moving down South.
It all started with a getaway my pal and I took to a absolutely nice amusement park down South. My nice friend and I ended up meeting a lot of people on that trip, and they became wonderful friends over the process of about three years. After visiting that park with our modern friends several more times, my pal and I decided that it would be nice for our family to move someplace closer to them, and that’s just what my pal and I did. It took about a year and a half for us to finally get moved in and settled into our modern home. While visiting, I did notice that it was much hotter than what I was used to, however I was either inside or having too much fun to absolutely notice it. However, once my pal and I moved there, the heat absolutely started to get to me. The previous owners of the apartment left us with two air conditioners, but just those two weren’t enough for those hot summer time nights. My nice friend and I ended up buying two more air conditioners two weeks after my pal and I moved in, and then, one more a few months later. I can’t imagine what it would have been like for people in the nights before air conditioner. I don’t know if I would be able to love the summertime down South at all if it weren’t for the blessing of air conditioner.
