My husband has been complaining about it being too hot in our bedroom during the summer months for many years now.
- I guess I just got used to it being that warm because it never really bothered me except for at the very beginning when we first moved into this house.
I feel bad for not thinking of it before, but last week, I decided to go ahead and buy an air conditioner for our bedroom. We had two window units already. One was in the living room, and one was in the kitchen. I did not want to take either of those because they keep the first floor very comfortable. It took me a couple of days to find a decent air conditioner for a good price, but I eventually did. It came with a five year warranty as well which is a huge plus since I don’t really have the greatest track record when it comes to air conditioners. I have had to replace the one in the living room twice. One of the times, it was not my fault though. My sons were wrestling in the living room, and they ended up breaking the air conditioner somehow. They worked to buy a new one, and it was all good in the end. I broke the second one when I was trying to install it during the spring. I ended up dropping it out the window while trying to install it. I knew that I should have waited for one of my sons to do it or my husband, but I was just too stubborn. Hopefully, I have better luck with this new air conditioner for our bedroom. We shall see I guess.
