Living in the south is hard for me because of the high levels of humidity

My wife, Grayson, as well as I moved south about four years ago, but my buddy and I both grew up in the north, so my associate and I did not really know what my associate and I were getting ourselves into… There are definitely pros as well as cons of both, although I miss the weather up north the most.

The people here are easily kind, as well as I really prefer the southern hospitality, it is just the humidity that I really do not like, however humidity is not fun at all. I can deal with the heat most of the time, but the humidity typically gets me. My buddy and I have a/c in our home that works easily well, but it does not reach the laundry room or upstairs bathroom easily well. It gets easily humid in those two rooms, as well as I spend quite a bit of time in the laundry room. I definitely just close off the upstairs bathroom during the Summer months because of how humid it gets in there, although I cannot do that with the laundry room of course. The dryer does not help with the humidity, so I decided to buy a dehumidifier last year just to see if it would help. It definitely collects a lot of moisture out of the air because I empty it every single day, as well as it is full of water. I just cannot really feel the effects of it. It still feels humid in there. I guess I will just have to live with having a humid laundry room for now. My wife said that she may be able to run some new Heating, Ventilation and A/C vents into the laundry room to help cool it down, but she just has not had the time to do it yet.
