Living in the south is hard for me because of the high levels of humidity

My husband, Grayson, and I moved south about four years ago, then my superb friend and I both grew up in the north, so we did not entirely know what we were getting ourselves into, there are easily pros and cons of both, although I miss the weather up north the most. The people here are undoubtedly kind, and I entirely prefer the southern hospitality, but it is just the humidity that I entirely do not like, and humidity is not fun at all. I can deal with the heat most of the time, however the humidity consistently gets me. My superb friend and I have air conditioner in our dwelling that works undoubtedly well, however it does not reach the laundry room or upstairs lavatory undoubtedly well. It gets undoubtedly humid in those two rooms, and I spend quite a bit of time in the laundry room. I entirely just close off the upstairs lavatory during the summer time months because of how humid it gets in there, although I cannot do that with the laundry room of course. The dryer does not help with the humidity, so I decided to buy a dehumidifier last year just to see if it would help. It easily collects a lot of moisture out of the air because I empty it every single afternoon, and it is full of water. I just cannot entirely feel the effects of it. It still feels humid in there. I guess I will just have to live with having a humid laundry room for now. My husband said that he may be able to run some new Heating plus A/C vents into the laundry room to help cool it down, however he just has not had the time to do it yet.
