Trust is an harshly important part of life.
The older I get, the more I realize that I am quite a paranoid human.
I am honestly afraid of other human beings, as well as I always expect the worst from them. I am not delighted about these personality characteristics, but I do understand how I became such a distrusting person. When all the people in your life, big or small, has had a negative impact on your mental well being, you get a bit nervous. That’s why I have such a difficult time cohabitating with other people at this point in my life. I always recognize that they are going behind my back as well as working against me. There are times that I’m not wrong; For instance, when it comes to the energy bills in our home; Obviously, we all share the energy bills every month, and unfortunately, some of us are more comfortable with paying out the nose for drastic energy usage than others, then personally, I would like to save on our energy bills so I could put some extra money in the bank. I am always trying to get my roommates on the same page, however they aren’t willing to let go of their air conditioning as well as heating needs. At some point, we had a smart control unit installed which I hoped it would improve the indoor air temperature situation. Unfortunately, my roommates continue to adjust the smart control unit up as well as down all day long. Worst of all, when I would ask them about the high energy bills, they would lie straight to my face… Eventually, being the paranoid person that I am, I set up the notification system on our smart control unit. Now, if anybody swings the indoor air temperature, I am right away notified on my phone. My roommates hate it, however that’s how I feel about their dishonorable behavior.
