For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to work for myself. I’ve never been satisfied doing menial work for somebody else’s larger vision. I never feel like I’m appreciated or like I have enough say in the day-to-day operations. I hate seeing large, company-wide problems, and being unable to do anything about it. I’m definitely not a fan of toiling away for someone else’s fortunes to amass, well I make a meager hourly wage. I also hate the instability of working for a company with questionable financial planning. If it was up to me, I would own my own business and make all of the decisions based on planning in logic. That’s why, I recently started making plans to leave my job and open my own business. Rather than taking a risk on something luxurious, I decided it would be smart to open a trade business. I personally am invested in the heating, cooling, and ventilation industry at this point. As far as I can tell, it’s one of the most stable Industries today. People will always need indoor air temperature control, and those desires are only growing. As global climate change is creating more dramatic uneven hot and cold temperatures, we have no choice but to create more powerful heating and cooling solutions. Residential and commercial HVAC technicians are in high demand because brand new ventilation equipment is always being developed to meet our growing air quality needs. Furthermore, old air handling equipment is always breaking down and requiring additional upgrades due to the temperature extremes. We might be facing an unstable global climate, but at least it primes the pumps so I can capitalize by providing reliable indoor climate control.
