My shoe wrack has consistently been a piece that I haven’t been cheerful with… At first my buddy and I just put our shoes on a piece of rug off to the side, then my partner has too several shoes, then I got a gardening sit with several shelves plus hooks to hold keys, and i thought it would labor great, however well my partner has taken up the bottom shelf plus is spilling over underneath it.
- Also, sporadically she will set her shoes next to the shelf.
What is the deal with that? It leaves sand everywhere. I have started looking for shoe racks plus everything I have found online is hideous. I don’t want a large component or a cupboard like thing. I think what I want is a bench you can sit on to take off shoes, underneath I want a cubby system that shoes go into, then out of sight but convenient. I then would hang hooks on the wall for the car keys… Should be easy to find right? Nope, a bench with cubbies doesn’t seem to exist. I have started going the custom furniture route. I found a furniture builder that is open to the idea of making a custom shoe stand. They even do upholstery labor too. I can option up my fabric, level of padding, plus the type of wood. Then I get built in cubbies underneath. I have seen a drawing of the labor plus it looks like it will be entirely something. I can’t wait to substitute that modern shoe stand, then right now it is such an eyesore.
