Has it been this bad? Smelly, stagnant home

I loved the fresh, cool air of the morning

I know people are learning a lot about themselves during this recent quarantine. Nobody could have foreseen this pandemic rising up plus stalling out life the way that it has. In response, the entire population has come to terms with some unlucky realizations about themselves. Namely, that they cannot stand being alone plus undistracted all afternoon long. In my own life, I have come to understand that when left to my own devices I am too glad to stay inside. The only uncomfortable realization is, apparently I am a lot smellier than I ever realized. For months I have been locked up inside of my home with only my indoor air. I have been using the central heating plus cooling system pretty officially because the outdoor climate has been unevenly hot plus frosty depending on the afternoon. I have been switching back plus forth from the boiler to the a/c plus I have been rather comfortable with my indoor air handling devices running the show. However, I definitely did not realize how much my indoor air was starting to smell. Because it has been so sealed off from fresh outdoor air, my indoor environment was getting pretty dank. I did not realize that this odor problem was occurring until I really left the home this week to go for a walk. I loved the fresh, cool air of the morning. When I returned to my house, I was shocked to walk inside plus smell my indoor air with a new perspective. Apparently I’ve been living in the artificial indoor air for so long that I became immune to the airborne smells. I turned off the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system from the smart thermostat plus quickly opened my windows for natural ventilation while I pondered “Have I regularly been this smelly?”
