I went to school to get my HVAC certification when I got out of high school, but the truth is that I really love working on heat pumps and boiler services more than anything else.
- For some reason, it’s a whole lot of fun for me and I wish that there was somewhere that would hire me to work on those things alone.
I really don’t enjoy working on central air conditioning systems or things like that and I have found that whenever I apply at local HVAC companies that are hiring, they want me to be able to work on all kinds of heating and cooling systems. I just don’t really want to do that, though. I really just want to make sure that I can find a job that I am going to like for a long time. I know myself and I know if I end up at a place that is going to make me work on air conditioning systems and other kinds of things that I don’t like, I’m just not going to end up sticking around at that particular job for very long. That’s just how it is. I would really love to find a place that is simply looking for an HVAC technician whose sole purpose is to take care of heat pumps and boilers and nothing else. I am sure that there has to be a place out there like that. I mean, some places don’t need a new HVAC technician who works on everything, but they might need a guy like me who only wants to work on heat pumps and boiler services. I know that I just really need to find the right place.
