I know some people won’t agree with my Texan view that greater is always the better way to go, despite the fact that I stand behind it.
When I’m choosing a truck? I want to make the roads shake.
When selecting a dog? I want most people to hear us coming. When choosing a current heating, cooling, and ventilation system? You’d better believe that I expect my whole dwelling to quiver. That’s right, I’m one of those people who is a firm believer in the central heating, cooling, and air quality control systems of yesteryear. I know, a lot of people have moved away from large, centralized indoor temperature control methods. But I am not one of those cowardly people. I’m not afraid of my high utility bills each month. I don’t mind the regular repair and service appointments. I don’t adore the filth that’s living inside of my air ductwork, circulating through every air vent when I adjust the indoor temperature and driving my energy bills to the sky. I adore the idea of my dwelling having one central temperature control point and one indoor air quality that’s worked on from room to room. In reality, of course, each room has it’s own temperature because the central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system cannot compensate for all the drafts and air duct harms. But in theory, I stand behind a united heating and cooling system for proud patriots like myself! Giving away air temperature control work to smaller Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems to help support the greater cause of a dwelling that’s comfortable for most people? Doesn’t align with my red-blooded values, central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C or die.
