I am going to buy a smaller drum today so that when we play it won’t be so loud & bother the locals in their homes, other than that it is going to be just another afternoon in paradise
Last evening was quite an eventful evening for such a quiet weekend this city is having. We played on the paseo near the beach last evening, played in our band that is, & we made some superb music & even got a gig at a bar by the beach. When we finished playing on the paseo we walked over to this bar to talk with the owners about playing at the club one evening & they had us play right there & then. They told us to come back & play again when it’s a busy evening & the fireplace is going inside so that we can have some cool ambiance & some superb air quality; Our goal is to play in clubs around city in the local contractors & play along the beaches at the beach bars a few evenings a week. I was feeling genuinely down & sleepy last evening before we played because of too many sports, but the music & people charged me up & I was feeling better at the end of the evening. This week is my afternoon to work on heat pumps & cooling system systems in the shop with the other Heating & A/C rep for a few hours & then hit the beach for a little practice. I am going to the local business now to get a few HEPA filters for my boiler.
